Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Qc (December 28, 2013) – Brother Canada, a leader in products for small offices, today announced the launch of its new Business Smart™ Pro series flagship model of inkjet all-in-ones for small- to medium-sized businesses. The MFC-J6920DW offers dual paper trays for larger paper capacity, as well as higher ink capacity and fastest in class print speeds1 of up to 22 ppm black and 20 ppm colour2. In addition to providing the ultimate combination of features for business, the MFC-J6920DW has the ability to print, copy, scan and fax 11" x 17" documents.
In a recent survey conducted by Brother, 66% of small business owners said that they were frequently overwhelmed by the amount of technology available to help them run their business. This finding, plus the fact that many small businesses don’t have dedicated IT support, makes the award-winning Business Smart™ Pro Series a smart choice for small businesses that want robust features, as well as intuitive operation.
Brother Wireless Assistant makes connecting to a wireless network easy. Users don’t need a USB cable or have to know their network password to connect. The intuitive 3.7" touchscreen display makes navigating menus easy and the touch panel illuminates only the keys needed for operation. All Business Smart™ Pro models come with free support for the life of the product, as well as a two-year limited warranty.
Knowing that mobile device use is becoming increasingly important to their business customers, the MFC-J6920DW was designed to offer enhanced web connectivity and a variety of mobile printing options. Near Field Communication (NFC) printing and scanning3 allows users to touch-to-connect their NFC-capable mobile devices to the all-in-one for direct printing or scanning without connecting to a wireless network. Additionally, a suite of free Brother Cloud Apps4 provides the ability to capture and convert paper documents directly from the machine without a computer.
“At Brother, we are continually striving to develop quality business products with relevant features at competitive prices,” states Dwayne Filipchuk, Director of Product Planning. “As a result, we’ve introduced the new Business Smart™ Pro Series that provides mobile device connectivity, low-cost printing and complete 11" x 17" document capabilities in an all-in-one inkjet that is essential for small businesses.”
