+ Where is the head office located?

Our head office and primary distribution center are in Montreal’s West Island (Dollard des Ormeaux), right off the Autoroute 40 (exit des Sources). We are a bus ride away from the Cote Vertu metro station! The 225 and 215 bus stop in front of our office and the 470 Express stops at Fairview shopping mall. We also have a Distribution Center in Richmond BC and a new Distribution Center in Ste-Anne de Bellevue.


+ Once I send my resume, who has access to it??

We respect everyone’s right to privacy. Any information you provide will be used solely for employment purposes by our Human Resources team. Your information will only be accessed by HR professionals and we have implemented procedures to ensure that your information remains secure and protected.

+ I applied online but no one has contacted me – what does it mean?

If your qualifications match a position we currently have available, we will contact you for an interview. If not, your résumé will remain in our database for future opportunities.

+ How long after submitting my resume can I expect to hear from Brother?

All resume submissions are stored in our resume database. Human Resources will have access to your information and may contact you if your background and skill set match the position(s) you have applied for or another current opening. Your resume will remain active in our database for up to 6 months and will be considered for future openings matching your interests, experience and education.

+ Should I follow up regarding my application?

It is not necessary to follow up on your application. We review each resume carefully for a potential match with current opportunities. If we identify a potential fit, we may contact you.

+ What is a typical recruitment process?

If your qualifications match a position we have, a member of the Human Resources Team will contact you for a telephone interview.

Overall, the assessment process varies somewhat according to the positions you are applying for. Typically, your information is made available to our recruiting professionals. They will compare your skills and experience with the requirements of the position for which you have applied as well as any other open position. You will be contacted if you are selected for consideration. Your information will be maintained in our recruiting database for future consideration as well.
