From the moment I was hired I felt the warmth and the belief they had in me, the commitment they’ve showed towards my growth and development have made me the longest standing employee at Brother Canada.

I started as a receptionist in our humble office in Ville St-Laurent. My desk was actually underneath a staircase but I didn’t care because my supervisor from day one welcomed me with genuine pleasure and gave me reassurance that with my talent and dedication many other doors would open for me with this organization….and, indeed these doors did open.

6 Presidents later, 19 bosses later I am here in a managerial position, a President Award recipient, and enjoying every moment along with all my colleagues and teammates and I surely hope to be here for much longer.

To all of you, I say, work hard, work well, be honest and many doors will open for you too, because this is what Brother is all about…appreciating and giving back.

Everyone welcomed and embraced me as part of the team and since then, I have had the opportunity to learn and grow as a professional but also as a person. My manager is an excellent and talented professional from whom, I have been learning a lot and who makes me feel appreciated and recognized.

It is a very stimulating work environment and very open to receive comments and suggestions about how to improve processes, programs or information we provide to our resellers. The company is always looking for better ways and programs to support and reward employees.

I was not surprised when we received a Global Certification for our Customer Service or when we are honored recipients of prestigious international awards because each process has been designed to make a difference and has a positive impact on our customer. Additionally every single person is committed to the organization… and that plays a distinctive role that our customers can perceive from their first contact with the company.

I was surprised to find out that the company shares part of its yearly profit with all its employees, regardless of their position. I never experienced this before.

In 7 years, I have been offered to perform in a B2C, B2B sales support representative, then as an Inside Sales Supervisor and I feel confident that it is just the start of the adventure of the Brother success for me! What a blast to enjoy waking up to come in everyday, work in such a supportive team and stimulating company! Great people delivering the customer experience from the heart!
